§ 10.04.020. Speed limits.

  • The speed limit for vehicles is twenty-five (25) miles per hour except as follows:

    A.

    Thirty (30) miles per hour on STH "26" from the north city limits to W. North Street;

    B.

    Thirty (30) miles per hour on STH "26" from the west city limits to Main Street;

    C.

    Twenty-five (25) miles per hour beginning at the intersection of CTY.TK M and CTY Road DJ going west to S. Hyland Street and thirty (30) miles per hour from east city limits to intersection of CTY.TK M and CTY Road DJ;

    D.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour in any alley;

    E.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour on Lincoln Drive;

    F.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour on Fair Street from E. Oak Grove Street to Lincoln Drive;

    G.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour on any city street, except a state trunk highway or connecting highway, within, contiguous to or adjacent to a public park or recreation area;

    H.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour on CTY Road DF from N. Main Street to the Recreation Trail;

    I.

    Fifteen (15) miles per hour on South Street from S. Fairfield to Western Avenue;

    J.

    Thirty-five (35) miles on W. North Street from the west city limits heading east two tenths of a mile.

    K.

    Thirty (30) miles per hour on the portion N. Western Avenue between the intersection of W. Oak Grove Street to the intersection of W. North Street.
