§ 2.04.030. Ward boundaries.

  • Pursuant to Section 62.08(4), Wisconsin Statutes, the boundaries of the three wards for the City of Juneau are redistricted as follows:

    A.

    Ward 1, containing a 2010 population of nine hundred twenty-two (922).

    A description of the boundaries of Ward 1 consistent with the conventions set forth in Section 4.003 of the Wisconsin Statutes, is set forth as follows: all of the real estate from the east corporate limits, north of the centerline of E. Center Street to its intersection with West Street, then north along the centerline of West Street to its intersection with W. North Street, then west along the centerline of W. North Street to its intersection with N. Fairfield Avenue, then south along the centerline of N. Fairfield Avenue to its intersection with Jewel Street, then west along the centerline of Jewel Street to the west corporate limits of the City of Juneau shall be known as Ward 1.

    B.

    Ward 2, containing a 2010 population nine hundred thirty-five (935).

    A description of the boundaries of Ward 2 consistent with the conventions set forth in Section 4.003 of the Wisconsin Statutes, is set forth as follows: all of the real estate bounded by a point starting at the intersection of N. Western Avenue and Jewel Street on the west side of the corporate limits of the City of Juneau and proceeding east along the centerline of Jewel Street to its intersection with N. Fairfield Avenue, then north along the centerline of N. Fairfield Avenue to its intersection with W. North Street, then east along the centerline of W. North Street to its intersection with West Street, then south along the centerline of West Street to its intersection with W. Center Street, then east along the centerline of W. Center Street to its intersection with N. Main Street, then south along the centerline of N. Main Street to its intersection with South Street, then west along the centerline of South Street to its intersection with S. Fairfield Avenue, then south along the centerline of S. Fairfield Avenue to its intersection with W. Kindt Street, then east along the centerline of W. Kindt Street to its intersection with S. Main Street, then south along the centerline of S. Main Street to the southern corporate limits of the City of Juneau and extending to the western corporate limits of the City of Juneau ending at the point of origin at the intersection of N. Western Avenue and Jewel Street, shall be known as Ward 2.

    C.

    Ward 3, containing a 2010 population of nine hundred fifty-seven (957).

    A description of the boundaries of Ward 3 consistent with the conventions set forth in Section 4.003 of the Wisconsin Statutes, is set forth as follows: all real estate laying south of the south boundary of Ward 1 to its intersection with the east boundary line of Ward 2 shall be known as Ward 3. The Juneau wastewater treatment plant is included in Ward 3.

    D.

    The list of the block numbers used by the U.S. Census Bureau that are wholly contained within each of the City of Juneau Tract No. 961100 wards as follows:

    Ward 1: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2019, 3001, 3002, 3006, 3013, 3014, 3016, 3023.

    Ward 2: 3005, 3007, 3008, 3010, 3011, 3012, 3015, 3018, 3019, 3020.

    Ward 3: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, 2036, 2039, 2040, 2041, 3017, 4034, 4065, 4106, 4108.
